14,175 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Record Sound"

This was recorded from my windowsill facing onto a tarmac driveway in august 2012. There is the occasional tinkling sound of raindrops hitting a metal gate, some traffic noise, the occasional bit of thunder, and some shouts of people getting wet. At the end, raindrops start falling onto the recorder. This is fairly heavy rain by oxford standards; we probably get something like this only a couple of times a year. This fall turned into hail a bit later. Recorded with a marantz pmd661.

This was recorded with a trustin portable rechargeable 8gb dictaphone. The recorder was held about 7" away for the louder scrapes and drops and no more than 3" away with the softer scraping sounds. Some normalization was used to drop the peaks. The tiles were in the small hall of an apartment, facing an open door. The hall was approximately 3 feet wide and 8 feet long. This is free to use anywhere you may find useful, and i'd love to hear the results.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

An mp3 recording of several musicians testing their instruments and playing musical passages, while the audience chats and converses. Starts with a solitary violin, and more and more instruments take the stage. Results in quite a discordant/tumultuous sound. This sound is created with two sounds that i recorded at the university. First, the sound of the huge door to out, then the lighter (which helps to feel the cold around) and the sound of someone smoking a cigarette. First of all, i cut the two fragment,from two different track, that i wanted for my mix. After, i first worked on the door sound. After i reduced noises, because all seemed better after noises reduced ! i made the same thing for the other sound, the lighter and smoker one. Then i ad the last one at the end of the first one, mix a little bit to make the two sounds seemed natural together. After, i normalized the track. At the end, i saved and export my track !.

During the bus ride you will be able to hear the soundscape of inside the bus, the bus itself when stopping you could hear the sound of its brakes, you can also hear sound of vehicles coming from outside, there is also a low rumble sound in the bus and voices of people. 0:40 - the sound of the bus announcer telling the next destination in portuguese, cantonese and putonghua. 1:32 - bus door opens and people walking out and the sounds now is different in outside. On the way to university, you could hear vehicles, people talking, key chains, footsteps and the sound of the gates opening and closing. You will also hear at the someone pressing the button for the elevator. Key sounds: key chain, vehicles, people.

What if we could hear sounds from another planet ?. In this imaginary place, people can visit zoos under water. Here is the sound of a yhtem, recorded by a visitor from inside his personal submarine. The recording device was found by a member of the zoo staff, as it was floating over the water. It gave no more informations about what happened to the visitor, except that according to several monster's specialists, the yhtem « sounded hungry ». In the real world, this sound was created using the sound of a very brief scream. At the background was a noisy street, and some cars were passing by. I used two different screams and mixed them, before decreasing speed and tempo in audacity. -. Xson « cannelé ». I accidentally sneezed while testing audio levels but it happened to be self-contained with the right volume for an isolated sound effect! recorded on my new blue yeti nano with noise reduction applied. I wasn't really prepared when it happened so there might be some minor clicking/noise and i couldn't really remove it. This is a recording of children playing in the large playground at the luxembourg gardens in paris, france. The recording was made from the east side of the playground, next to an attraction that allows kids to hang from a sort of harness and slide down a rail. The metallic clink you hear periodically is the sound of the runners on this gadget banging into each other as kids jump off of them. Recorded with a zoom h4n at 96 khz / 24 bits in stereo with built-in mics.

Uh-1 helicopter does one flyby then approaches and flies directly overhead. It kicks up some sand as it goes over and then lands on a ship, about 100 meters away. Walking on a nature trail on a late summer evening. Walking on concrete at the beginning of the clip and on grass midways and on. A bird can be heard calling distantly in the background. Crickets chirp loudly throughout the clip. The sound of leaves and sticks being crunched and knocked about can be heard moreso during the second half of the clip. An early morning recording made at 7:30am on sunday april 2nd, 2017 in a large field bordered by heavy woods. . . . Beyond the woods is a large lake and, with headphones on, you might be able to hear the sound of boats on the lake. It was sunny, but, a typical cold early spring day. Temp was 43 degrees with a slight breeze making it feel like 37. But, that did not stop the birds from putting on a chorus. Recorded myself cutting up, tearing and squishing a watermelon, resulting sounds processed only with a slight low-cut and normalization. Recording quality was not as great as i would have hoped although there should still be something useful here, i learnt 2 valuable lessons though:. 1. Watermelon juice and microphones are best kept separated. 2. Sounds travels quite well through kitchen worktops so don't put the mic flat on it!.

Been fairly busy lately, but, finally i'm glad to be able to get around to posting some more wonderful, enjoyable nature sounds. This is a hot-humid july ambiance recorded at midday in the shawnee national forest in illinois. The predominant bird you hear is an eastern towhee. His call literally sounds like he is thirsty and tired of the heat of summer!this woods recording has the feel of slow motion summer, but still with the exciting and subtle knowledge that, things are starting to give way to autumn, and indoor schedules and long shadows. . Recorded thursday july 21, 2022. Equipment: zoom f3 and lom usi pro microphones. Recording in deep hardwood forest containing many hickory trees, beech trees and a lot of oak trees. A magical place.

Recently we purchased a scale from ikea, when we finally got around to using it we realized that it must be off, as i do not weigh 240 lbs. As we did not have a receipt, or the desire to drive 2 hours to return a $10 scale the only course of action left to me was to take the damn thing apart and record its insides. (what else?). I recorded and edited together around 7 and a half minutes of various configurations and performances of me making some sort of repetitive, engine-like sound. I can foresee myself using these sounds for an old-timey engine or car. Recorded with a rode ntg-3 at 96/24.

It's a part of my pack "sickness". Sounds i recorded while being sick. I got a virus infection resulting in elevated body temperature, lack of strength, cough, running nose and sneezing. Check the title for what is in this particular recording. Recorded with zoom h2 on a mic-stand @ 96khz/24-bit. All the sounds in this pack are raw (unprocessed) they were truncated and converted to flac (both using audacity) but not normalized, with original 24-bit precision - turn them up as you need, denoise if you have to, cut out what you want. A sound i initially made for scp containment breach's ambiance sounds when i had first had the zoom h6 (2019 december, i regularly sound mod old games to gain learning experience of the encoding, the resampling quality of that engine and the internals and since then i've improved in many places). The actual recording is the pressure sound of water going down its sinkhole, filtered as to "muffle" the sound due to the design being that behind a wall and catching the attention of the player likely leading to their death by scp-173 but also was done to boost its bass and it gives a sort of comfortable, releasing feel.
